A lot happens behind the scenes to keep Shark Coatings moving every day, and Matt has a hand in much of it.
As Director of Operations, Matt oversees day-to-day operations while developing and maintaining many of the processes and applications that keep the company organized and moving forward. His role also reaches into payroll, benefits, and other administrative responsibilities, giving him a unique view of how all the pieces of Shark work together.
Matt has been with Shark Coatings since 2021. Before joining the company, he spent 22 years with Publix, bringing decades of operational experience with him.
About
What Matt enjoys most about Shark is the pace. There is always something happening, something changing, or a new challenge to solve. Rather than shying away from that, it is one of the things he enjoys most about his role.
Of everything he has seen during his time with Shark, company growth is what makes him especially proud. Behind that growth are processes, people, and countless details that have to work together, and Matt helps make sure they do.
Ultimately, he wants all of that work behind the scenes to result in something very simple for the customer: a coating they are happy to see every single day.
