If the Shark Coatings logo is on it, there is a pretty good chance Brooke had her hands in it.
As Marketing Director, Brooke’s role touches nearly every corner of the company. She works with media partners and vendors, negotiates opportunities for Shark, develops campaigns, digs into performance, and works closely with every department to help bring ideas to life. With no two days looking quite the same, being able to pivot is a pretty important part of the job.
Brooke has been working with Shark Coatings since 2023 and has worked in media since 2016. Before joining the Shark team, she spent time on both sides of the industry, working for a television station and later on the agency side. That experience gave her a unique perspective on media, advertising, and what happens behind the scenes before a campaign ever reaches the public.
About
Her favorite part of marketing is that it gives her an excuse to use two very different sides of her brain. There is the creative side, where she gets to work on everything from commercials and website designs to projects like Shark Coatings’ Deck the Chairs display. Then there is the analytical side, where she can happily disappear into numbers, performance data, and more spreadsheets than anyone probably needs.
And yes, if a spreadsheet can exist for something, Brooke probably has one.
With so many different pieces moving at once, organization is something she takes seriously. It keeps the creative ideas, media plans, vendors, projects, budgets, and countless details moving in the same direction.
Although Brooke does not often work directly with customers, testimonials give her the opportunity to hear what happens after all that marketing leads someone to Shark. Her favorite stories are the ones that go beyond simply getting a new coating. Sometimes it means having a space that is easier to maintain. Other times, it means completely transforming an area of the home into somewhere the customer loves spending time again. Those are the stories she loves getting to tell.

Brooke loves learning anything hands-on. From electrical and woodworking to figuring out how to build something from scratch, she is always up for learning a new skill. It gives her a chance to step away from the computer, which is definitely welcomed from time to time!
