How We Handle These Projects
The process is the same as every Shark Coatings project. We grind the concrete to create the proper surface profile for the coating system. Base coat goes down first. Flake is broadcast into the wet base coat for visual depth and a layered appearance. The topcoat seals everything and creates the hardened final surface.
Outdoor shower floors are smaller in footprint but still require full prep. The concrete has to be properly ground and cleaned before any coating goes down. We do not cut corners on smaller surfaces.
